Regulation 46For children's homes

The Sample Home

A location assessment evidence pack as a children's home receives it, built from public data on 7 November 2026 for a point that is not a children's home. The postcode, the authority and the names of streets, places and schools are changed; every figure is real.

How the sample was made

  • It describes the area around the point and the authority it sits in. It never rates a home, its staff or the children living there, and counts below three are printed as "fewer than 3".
  • A pack you order is built from the latest published figures for your own home's postcode, which only your account sees.
  • The place it is drawn from is not named. Its name, its postcode and the names of streets, parks and stops are replaced with plain labels such as "Road A"; every count, rate and comparison is as printed for that place.
